Back cover blurb: This morning, I found a body. Soon the police will arrest me for murder. And after that my life will fall apart. Gaby Mortimer is the woman who has it all. But everything changes when she finds a body on the common near her home. Because the evidence keeps leading back to her.And the police seem sure she's guilty... UNDER YOUR SKIN is an unpredictable, exquisitely twisty story, which proves that there are only three rules in life that mean anything: Assume nothing. Believe no one. Check everything.

Gaby has the perfect enviable life, a wealthy husband, a TV career and a beautiful daughter.
Until that is, she stumbles upon a body one early morning whilst running. A random, gruesome discovery that ensures her life will never be the same again.

Initially just a witness, quickly Gaby becomes a suspect as it becomes clear that the police are struggling to find a perpetrator for the crime that she has stumbled across.

Unfortunately for Gaby she works in entirely the wrong industry to be 'just' an 'innocent' victim and very quickly Gaby's perfect life begins to slowly unravel.

As she is hounded by journalists, and with little left to lose, Gaby begins to wonder with her media background, if one of the more persistent journalists couldn't help her out a little and she enlists his help.

Together they struggle to piece together the evidence until it points in a terrifying direction.

I've read a lot of crime novels but even I couldn't predict the brilliant twist of an ending. Maybe I should have paid closer attention to the tagline; Assume nothing. Believe no one. Check everything.

A truly gripping crime novel.
